Five years after its founding, TH Group—known for its dairy and beverage products—established the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF). The foundation’s initial mission was to improve the physical development of Vietnamese people by donating milk and nutritious drinks.
Since then, TH Group has expanded its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts far beyond this original focus. Through VSF, the company has carried out a wide range of initiatives across Vietnam, especially in remote and disadvantaged areas—helping build schools and sanitation facilities, reconstruct homes, and provide essential aid to those in need.
Improving school infrastructure in remote areas
Ms. Tran Thi Khanh Van, principal of Anh Duong Kindergarten in Son La Province, recalled how the school’s outdoor toilets had deteriorated and no longer met hygiene standards. With support from VSF, TH Group, and Bac A Bank—TH’s financial advisory and service partner—a new sanitation facility was constructed, greatly improving conditions for preschoolers.
Anh Duong is one of nine schools in Son La that received funding in May to build new toilets. These facilities were inaugurated across nine communes, most of which are designated as particularly disadvantaged ethnic and mountainous areas.
The sanitation projects are part of a broader plan to construct 1,000 school toilets nationwide. In December 2024, an additional 20 toilets were inaugurated in Yen Chau District, Son La. The construction of 20 toilets in Thanh Hoa and 10 in Hoa Binh is currently underway and would be completed soon.
In addition to sanitation, VSF is helping build educational infrastructure. In January 2025, it partnered with Dan Viet newspaper to break ground on a two-story dormitory at My Ly 1 Semi-Boarding Primary School for Ethnic Minorities in Ky Son District, Nghe An Province. With a Phase 1 investment of VND2.1 billion, the dormitory will provide 167 students with safe, clean, and comfortable accommodations to support their schooling.
My Ly 1, located in a poor border district with a poverty rate of nearly 60%, serves 345 students—97% of whom are from ethnic groups such as Thai, H’Mong, and Kho Mu.

Since the 2019–2020 school year, students from satellite campuses have moved to the main site after third grade to study IT and foreign languages. However, this has placed increasing pressure on the existing infrastructure.
The full project, with a total budget of over VND5.1 billion, will be completed in three phases: Phase 1 includes the dormitory; Phases 2 and 3 will add classrooms, a kitchen, a playground, and accommodations for teachers.
Fundraising for Phase 1 launched in November 2024 and raised more than VND2 billion in just two months, supported by thousands of individuals and organizations.
A similar initiative is also underway in Dien Bien Province, where a three-story classroom building is under construction at the Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities in Dien Bien District. Once completed, the facility will provide a well-equipped learning space for highland students.
Both projects are scheduled for completion by 2025.
Rebuilding homes for the poor and disaster victims
In March, three households in Luong Son Commune, Bao Yen District, Lao Cai Province returned to newly rebuilt homes after Typhoon Yagi destroyed their previous shelters in September 2024. VSF and Bac A Bank contributed VND200 million to the reconstruction effort.
Previously, these families lived in temporary structures made of tin roofing and wood, which became uninhabitable after the storm. With the Government’s help, they moved into temporary shelters while their new homes were built. The rebuilt homes provide not only safety but also a renewed sense of stability and hope.
In February, 14 families in Yen Bai Province also received new houses through a VSF initiative supported by 60 donors. The campaign raised over VND460 million in just 15 days.
These sturdy homes—with brick and wood walls, metal roofs, and solid doors—offer safe and secure living conditions to families that had been displaced.
Continuing its mission to improve rural housing, VSF and Bac A Bank’s Quang Binh branch donated VND300 million in March to replace six degraded shelters in the province.
Earlier, in Kon Tum Province, VSF handed over five newly built homes worth a total of VND250 million to low-income families in Dak To Lung Commune, Kon Ray District. These houses, built with brick walls, tin roofs, and raised floors, protect residents from flooding and provide lasting security.
In addition, in support of the Government’s national campaign to eliminate substandard housing by 2025, VSF pledged a total of VND10 billion.
In another initiative last September, VSF, Bac A Bank, and TH Group jointly launched construction of 10 “Great Unity” homes for war veterans and former youth volunteers in Nghe An Province, with a combined investment of VND500 million.
Supporting the vulnerable through aid
To cope with the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi, TH Group, VSF, and Bac A Bank provided VND5.5 billion in emergency relief to northern provinces in September 2024. TH Group contributed VND3.5 billion—including VND1.5 billion in goods—while Bac A Bank contributed VND2 billion via the State Bank of Vietnam.
In February 2025, the annual “Tet for the Poor” program brought meaningful Lunar New Year gifts to underprivileged families across the country. Jointly organized by VSF, TH Group, and Bac A Bank, the campaign delivered over VND7.5 billion in donations.
Through the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, TH Group continues to demonstrate its long-term commitment to corporate social responsibility. By focusing on the needs of disadvantaged communities across Vietnam, the group is playing a significant role in improving living conditions, education, and resilience in rural and remote areas.
