HCMC – A landslide has obstructed traffic on the Ta Pua Pass in the south-central province of Binh Thuan.
The landslide occurred around 1 a.m. today (August 8), depositing large rocks and debris across a section of the pass.
By 11 a.m., the Department of Transport of Ninh Thuan Province, along with local authorities, were working to clear the mass of earth and rocks. The affected section is located in Me Pu Commune, Duc Linh District, Binh Thuan.
Emergency response teams used drilling machines to break down the large rocks, facilitating the removal process. Specialized equipment was also deployed to clear the road.
Given heavy traffic on this route, local police have implemented traffic control measures at both ends of the road, directing vehicles to alternate routes to ensure safety and prevent congestion.
