Laba Banana Da K’Nang Cooperative in Lam Dong Province has been committed to sustainable development from the beginning, focusing on growing organic bananas based on Japanese standards. Vo Thi Thu, deputy head of the cooperative, said that Laba Banana Da K’Nang has strictly followed a rigorous process of cultivating, caring, harvesting, processing, and exporting bananas under close supervision from their Japanese partners. Currently, the cooperative has collaborated with several partners in South Korea and Malaysia, along with three main importers from Japan. The export volume of bananas from the Laba Banana Da K’Nang Cooperative increased by over 30% in the first few months of this year compared to last year.
