The fear of margin calls

The local stock market is looking forward to the results of the tariff negotiations between the U.S. and Vietnam in the coming days. However, the fear of margin calls (requests for investors to deposit extra money into their margin accounts) after recent sessions with a sharp downturn will undoubtedly linger in investors’ minds.
