Tam Thang Tower nears completion ahead of National Day

HCMC – Tam Thang Tower on Thuy Van Street, Vung Tau Ward, HCMC is entering its final construction phase and is set to be inaugurated on Vietnam’s National Day, September 2. The structure is expected to become a new architectural landmark and tourist attraction in Vung Tau.
Covering more than 3,000 square meters within the 16,300-square-meter Thuy Van Square at Bai Sau Beach (or Thuy Van), Vung Tau, the project features 143 reinforced concrete pillars arranged in three groups facing the seaThe design symbolizes the three traditional fishing villages of Thang Nhat, Thang Nhi, and Thang TamThe pillars vary in height from 10.9 meters to 31.6 meters, creating a visual effect reminiscent of three ship prows reaching toward the ocean, reflecting the local community’s maritime heritage and aspirationsEach pillar is clad in mosaic tiles, producing striking light effects when illuminated at nightThe project also includes a 3.6-meter-high observation deck, accessible via stairways on both sides, offering visitors panoramic views and a gathering spot for photographyWorkers are racing to complete the finishing touches to ensure the tower’s lighting system is ready for the holidayThe surrounding area has been landscaped with open sea views and green spacesAdditional facilities are also nearing completion, including a basketball court, five underground walkways connecting hotels, public restrooms, service stations, playgrounds, and sports areas on nearby land lots at 165 and 165A Thuy Van StreetThese supporting works are over 85% completeA night view of Tam Thang Tower illuminated with vibrant lighting – PHOTO: ECO GROUPTam Thang Tower was selected through a design competition launched by Vung Tau authorities in 2024.
