TCX to pay 5% cash dividends

HCMC – Techcom Securities JSC (HOSE: TCX) has set April 8 as the record date to pay a 5% cash dividend, its first since listing.

Shareholders will get VND500 per share, with total payouts estimated at over VND1.1 trillion. The payment is scheduled for May 8 and will be funded from undistributed after-tax earnings as of December 31, 2024, based on audited financial statements.

The company became a public and listed firm in late 2025.

TCX shares closed down 1.3% to VND52,300 each today, March 26, with trading volume of nearly 1.6 million shares.

The VN-Index dropped 13.56 points, or 0.82%, to 1,644.63 on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE), with decliners outnumbering gainers.

The market recorded 207 losers and 123 winners. Trading volume reached 806.7 million shares worth VND21.7 trillion, down 9.6% in volume and 4.2% in value from the previous session. Block deals contributed 165.5 million shares valued at more than VND4.5 trillion.

The VN30-Index fell by more than 23 points, with 25 stocks declining and three others advancing. VJC added 1.3%, while SHB and VIC gained about 1%. Losses were led by DGC, down 4.4%, followed by FPT, down 3.6%, and PLX, down 3.4%. VHM and VRE fell around 3% each.

Mid- and small-cap stocks showed mixed performance. CII gained 2.2% with trading volume of nearly 30 million shares. NVL rose 2.9%, after climbing more than 5% earlier in the session, with over 21.3 million shares traded.

Banking and securities stocks mostly declined by around 1%. SHB rose 1% with nearly 67.9 million shares traded. In the brokerage sector, HCM gained 3.1% and VCI increased 2.5%, both with strong liquidity.

HPG fell 1.7% to VND25,900 per share, its lowest level of the day, with more than 18.4 million shares traded.

Power stocks weakened after recent gains. NT2, PC1, and REE posted modest increases of around 1%, while TV1 fell 1%, TV2 declined 2.2%, GEG dropped 2.6%, and POW lost nearly 2%.

Oil and gas stocks extended losses. PLX and GAS declined sharply, while BSR and PVD closed down about 0.5%.

Fertilizer stocks advanced in the afternoon session. DCM and BFC hit their ceiling prices, while DPM gained 5.8% with trading volume exceeding 12.3 million shares.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index fell 1.46 points, or 0.58%, to 248.1, with 95 decliners and 52 gainers. Trading volume totaled nearly 66 million shares worth VND1.26 trillion.
