HCMC – Thu Dau Mot Water Joint Stock Company, which is listed on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange under the stock code TDM, has reported its substantial 2023 revenue and profit.
The company’s revenue reached around VND657 billion, up 30% over the previous year.
Water production revenue accounted for almost 72% of the total, at over VND473 billion. Revenue from financial activities totaled VND124 billion, making up 19%, while income from other sources amounted to around VND60 billion
The company posted after-tax profit of VND284. billion, surging by 29% versus 2022. With the positive business performance, TDM obtained 95% of the annual profit target in 2023.
Closing the trading session today, January 15, TDM inched down by 0.25% day-on-day to VND39,900.
With 181 advancers and 311 decliners, the VN-Index of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange edged down by a fractional 0.05%, or 0.58 points, against the previous session, at 1,154.12 points.
Over 617.15 million shares worth VND12.6 trillion changed hands, down by 43% in volume and value over the session earlier. Block deal transactions contributed VND1.1 trillion to the overall value, with more than 57.5 million shares traded.
The VN30-Index of the VN30 basket, the 30 largest-cap stocks, lost by 2.36 points, with 12 stocks rising and 18 others declining.
MWG and VCB rose the sharpest, 2.4% and 1.5%, while SSI dropped the steepest, 2.5%.
Lender SHB took the lead by liquidity, with 37.2 million shares transacted. However, it declined by 1.2% to close at VND12,150.
On the northern bourse, the HNX-Index lost 2.76 points, or 1.2%, at 227.55 points. There were more than 62.4 million shares changing hands on the bourse today, with a total value of over VND1.1 trillion.
