HCMC – Residents and tourists have flocked to the flower market along Binh Dong Wharf in District 8, HCMC, to soak up the festive atmosphere and buy flowers for home decoration as the Lunar New Year holiday (Tet) draws near.
The flower market at Binh Dong Wharf is open from January 14 to 28, 2025, corresponding to the 15th to the 29th day of the final lunar month. Its grand opening was held on January 24 on Binh Dong Street.
As Tet approaches, Binh Dong Wharf buzzes with activity, becoming a popular “seasonal” destination for both local and international tourists. Many visitors gather here to photograph and film the busy scenes on the wharf and on the boats ahead of Tet.
This year, the market brings together 689 gardening households from various provinces, including Vinh Long, Dong Thap, Ben Tre, Long An, Tien Giang, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, Lam Dong, Kon Tum, as well as many districts across HCMC.
