HCMC — The Vietnam Saigon Textile & Garment Industry – Fabric & Garment Accessories Expo (SaigonTex & SaigonFabric) 2026 was opened on April 8 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), featuring over 1,000 firms from 22 countries and territories.

This trade event, co-organized by the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) and the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (VINATEX) and others, highlights the latest advancements across the entire textile value chain, from modern machinery and technology to raw materials and high-quality fabrics.

With the participation of corporations from the U.S., Germany, Japan, Italy and others, the expo underscores Vietnam’s growing importance as a strategic hub in the global garment supply chain.

The 2026 edition places a strong emphasis on green and sustainable production solutions, reflecting the industry’s shift toward environmental responsibility and smart technology. A standout feature of the exhibition is the “Made in Vietnam Hub,” a dedicated area for domestic manufacturers to highlight their production capabilities and high-quality accessories that meet rigorous international standards.

This specialized zone aims to bridge the gap between local suppliers and international buyers, helping Vietnamese brands penetrate deeper into global markets while increasing the localization rate of products to satisfy strict rules of origin under various free trade agreements (FTAs).

Running until April 11, the four-day event also features a series of thematic seminars focused on the future of industry, including the application of AI in fashion design and production optimization.
