BANGKOK – THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2025, a trade event for the hospitality, restaurant, and café industries, has kicked off at Bangkok’s Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, Thailand.
The event, which runs from March 5 to 7, is a key gathering for the hotels, restaurants, and catering (HORECA) industry in the region and is expected to generate a trade value of at least 4 billion baht.

In his opening remarks, Pichai Naripthaphan, Thailand’s Minister of Commerce, emphasized Thailand’s position as a world-class tourism destination and a growing business hub for the hospitality sector.
Mathias Kuepper, managing director and VP Asia-Pacific of Koelnmesse, said: “THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2025 is a catalyst for change in the HoReCa industry. AI automation, digital procurement, and sustainability are no longer trends; they are essential strategies for future growth.”
With 460 companies from 25 countries participating, over 20,000 industry professionals in attendance, and the region’s largest buyer program featuring 500 top-tier HoReCa buyers, THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2025 offers a strategic platform for business-driven innovation, market expansion, and deal-making.

Following the success of its 2024 edition, this year’s event has expanded to meet increasing industry demand for AI-driven automation, digital procurement, and cost-effective food service solutions. A 50% rise in pre-scheduled business meetings compared to last year highlights its growing significance as a platform for industry partnerships and advancements.
The event officially opened with the announcement of the 10 winners of the THAIFEX – HOREC Innovation Awards. Recognizing transformative solutions across various product categories, the awards serve as a trend barometer and source of inspiration for the HoReCa industry in Southeast Asia.
