HCMC – The Ministry of Transport has inaugurated Tien Son Dry Port in Bac Ninh Province, covering an area of over 114,800 square meters.
Located within the Tien Son Industrial Zone in Tu Son City, the port was developed by Bac Ky Investment JSC.
The dry port is set to manage import and export services in accordance with government regulations outlined in Decree 38. It is expected to handle up to 120,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) annually, with connections to major seaports in Haiphong City, Quang Ninh Province, and the Lang Son border gate.
The ministry has instructed the developer to comply strictly with environmental standards and ensure operational safety. Any expansions or changes in the facility’s use will require approval from relevant authorities.
In May, the Ministry approved the conversion of Tien Son’s inland clearance depot (ICD) into a dry port.
