HCMC — The People’s Council of Hanoi City has approved a project to renovate parks along both sides of the To Lich River.
The project, estimated at more than VND4.6 trillion, will be developed under the build-transfer (BT) model, with land provided to the investor as payment. Implementation is scheduled from the fourth quarter of 2025 to the fourth quarter of 2028. Sun Group JSC is the proposed investor, reported the Vietnam News Agency.
The redevelopment will cover 12 wards, including Ngoc Ha, Nghia Do, Lang, Giang Vo, Cau Giay, Yen Hoa, Thanh Xuan, Dong Da, Khuong Dinh, Dinh Cong, Thanh Liet, and Hoang Liet. The project will occupy about 738,000 square meters.
Planned facilities include riverside sidewalks, walking paths, squares, seating, ramps, tree beds, playgrounds, sports areas, parking, pedestrian-only paths, service buildings, architectural features, supporting structures, green spaces, urban lighting, and utility equipment.
The project aims to improve the riverside landscape, provide spaces for recreation and community activities, and support cultural, commercial, service, and tourism development along the river.
