HCMC – The commencement of toll collection on the Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway, originally scheduled for May 2, has been postponed, according to Nguyen Van Long, vice director of the Project 85 Management Board.
Long cited the pending administrative procedures awaiting approval from the Ministry of Transport as the reason for the delay.
“While the toll collection stations are ready, certain administrative steps remain outstanding,” Long explained. He further stated that toll collection is expected to begin in about 10 days if all administrative procedures are completed smoothly.
The Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway project is being implemented under a private-public partnership. Spanning 78.5 kilometers across Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan provinces, the project needs an investment of VND8,925 billion.
