HCMC – Vicem Ha Tien Cement Company will begin collecting tolls on the newly built road connecting Nguyen Duy Trinh Street and Phu Huu Industrial Park in Thu Duc City from September 17.
The road, on which Vicem Ha Tien Cement Joint Stock Company started construction in 2012 under the build-operate-transfer format, is 30 meters wide and 2.6 kilometers long.
Around VND461 billion was spent on the project, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
From September 17 until the end of this year, toll fees will range from VND14,000 to VND110,000 per trip depending on the type of vehicle. Monthly and quarterly ticket packages will also be available, with prices ranging from VND420,000 to nearly VND9 million.
Starting in 2025, toll fees will increase to between VND15,000 and VND120,000 per trip, with further adjustments to VND17,000 to VND133,000 per trip after that.
The toll station will offer both automatic and manual payment methods. In addition to vehicles exempted under city regulations, cars with fewer than 12 seats owned by residents of Nguyen Thi Tu and Dang Thanh Hieu streets will also be exempt from the toll.
