Tourism fair in Hanoi expected to attract over 600 exhibitors

HCMC — The International Travel Mart 2026 is expected to draw more than 600 domestic and foreign companies when it runs from April 10–12 at the International Center for Exhibition in Hanoi City.

The event, themed “Digital Transformation and Green Growth – Elevating Vietnam’s Tourism,” will feature around 450 booths of airlines, tourism promotion agencies, international organizations, and private companies.

Fifteen countries and territories, alongside 34 Vietnamese provinces and cities, plan to showcase destinations, tourism products, and partnership opportunities. Organizers anticipate roughly 80,000 visitors.

A business-to-business session on April 9 is expected to bring together 350–400 companies, including around 150 international tour operators from key markets and 200 Vietnamese travel firms, to meet and explore cooperation.

International promotion activities will feature Malaysia, South Korea, and Taiwan, highlighting tourism products, cultural exchanges, and performances. B2C initiatives will run alongside to connect companies directly with consumers.

Conferences and seminars will focus on tourism trends amid digital transformation and green growth, including technology applications in management and operations. Highlighted programs include promotions for Gia Lai, Lai Chau, and a joint initiative involving Ninh Binh, Hung Yen, and Ca Mau. HCMC will also unveil its 2026 tourism calendar.

An awards ceremony on April 10 is set to recognize 136 companies and 73 individuals for contributions to travel, accommodation, and tourism services, according to the Vietnam Tourism Association.
