TTC AgriS to pay 10% stock dividend

HCMC – Thanh Thanh Cong-Bien Hoa JSC, known as TTC AgriS (HOSE, ticker: SBT), announced to pay a 10% stock dividend to its shareholders for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 fiscal years, with January 13 set as the record date.

TTC AgriS plans to issue more than 74 million shares for the dividend payment to its existing shareholders at a 10% rate, which means shareholders will receive 10 more shares for every 100 shares held. Any fractional shares will be canceled.

On January 23, TTC AgriS will convene an extraordinary general shareholders’ meeting to consider seven proposals, including updates to the corporate governance internal regulations, revisions to the Board of Directors’ organizational and operational rules, a plan to issue convertible bonds, and the election of additional board members.

According to the recently released documents, the Board of Directors intends to propose issuing nearly 12 million convertible bonds, valued at around VND1,200 billion, to existing common shareholders at a ratio of 6788/100.

Closing the trading session today, January 2, SBT fell by 1.91% against the previous session to VND12,850, with 461,400 shares changing hands.

On the southern bourse, the VN-Index of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange added 2.93 points, or 0.23% compared to the session on December 31, 2024, closing at 1,269.71 points, with 239 winners and 164 losers.

More than 428.1 million shares worth VND10.75 trillion were traded, down by 11% in volume and 7% in value. Block deal transactions contributed around VND1.9 trillion to the overall value.

HPG and MBB were the most actively traded stocks on the exchange, with 14.9 million and 12.4 million shares traded, respectively.

The Hanoi Stock Exchange saw 88 stocks advance and 72 others losing, with the HNX-Index rising by 0.26 point, or 0.11%, to 227.69 points.

The total trading volume reached over 30.7 million shares worth VND497.1 billion. Block trades accounted for five million shares worth VND105.1 billion.
