With a commitment to becoming a green tourism brand, TTC Hospitality has developed a roadmap and is continuously working to achieve its green goals through core pillars: green environment, green personnel, and green products. This direction aims not only to protect the natural ecosystem but also to ensure sustainable, harmonious growth between business operations and the environment.

Green environment

In 2024, TTC Hospitality took proactive steps to systematize environmental activities across all of its business units. The monthly Green Day initiative has become the foundation for numerous activities such as tree planting, beach and river cleanups, and workspace sanitation. These activities not only help protect and beautify the landscape but also create green, fresh living spaces for both tourists and employees. Notably, in the second quarter of 2024 alone, TTC Hospitality contributed to planting nearly 100,000 new trees, a significant milestone in developing green spaces.

Prominent tourist destinations like TTC World – Valley of Love and TTC World – Ta Cu are exemplary efforts in TTC Hospitality’s green initiatives. The Valley of Love has planted over 2,000 cherry blossom trees and 2,000 pine trees, bringing the total number of trees in the area to over 300,000. This is not only a major step towards environmental protection but also contributes to the ecological landscape of Dalat City, aligning with the local government’s goal of planting 3.8 million trees from 2021-2025.

At TTC World – Ta Cu, over 60,000 ornamental and fruit trees were newly planted in 2024, enhancing the green landscape of the tourist site. Meanwhile, TTC Mekong Aqua Park, after one year of establishment, has almost fully covered its premises with lawns and flower gardens, creating a natural, appealing space for visitors.

As of 2022, the total green space area of TTC Hospitality’s business units reached 280,500 square meters, with forest areas totaling over two million square meters. The company aims to plant an additional 120,000 trees by 2025.

In addition to green spaces, TTC Hospitality emphasizes green buildings by developing architectural, landscape, and basic system standards to reduce energy use, limit light and air pollution, and conserve water.

Specifically, TTC Hospitality encourages its business units with adequate space to install solar panels, which will become mandatory in the future. By 2025, 70% of TTC Hospitality’s business units will have installed solar energy panels, as part of its commitment.

At TTC Van Phong Bay Resort, the resort has adopted a green building model with recessed glass layers that reduce heat radiation and eliminate the need for CO and CO2 ventilation control. The water system is designed with optimal pressure, featuring water-saving devices, and the hot water system uses solar energy. Treated water is also recycled for landscaping purposes. TTC Van Phong Bay Resort is set to become TTC Hospitality’s first unit to achieve EDGE certification for green buildings.

A key goal in TTC Hospitality’s green strategy is minimizing and eventually eliminating plastic waste. Since 2018, packaging products at TTC Hospitality hotels and restaurants have transitioned from plastic to more eco-friendly materials like kraft paper. Since 2019, business units have actively replaced plastic straws and food containers with environmentally friendly alternatives.

By 2025, 50% of TTC’s business units will completely phase out single-use plastic products, with the target reaching 100% by 2030.

Green personnel

TTC Hospitality focuses on sustainable human resource development, placing people at the center of long-term growth. The Green Personnel strategy not only focuses on professional competence and skills but also emphasizes social and environmental responsibility.

TTC Hospitality has developed numerous internal training programs, ensuring that each employee completes at least 4 hours of training per month. By 2025, the total number of training hours is expected to reach 8,000. Additionally, quarterly Staff Gatherings are organized, with 100% employee participation, providing opportunities to share experiences and stay updated on new policies.

TTC Hospitality follows a fair recruitment process, offering opportunities to passionate and skilled candidates, regardless of background. The company also supports tourism students through internship programs, helping them access professional, eco-friendly work environments.

By 2025, TTC Hospitality’s volunteer hours are expected to exceed 2,000 hours, with employees actively participating in charity programs such as “Loving White Shirts,” “TTC Steps to Success,” blood donation drives, and the “Sowing Seeds of Love” initiative.

In 2023, TTC Hospitality was recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Workplaces in Vietnam in the tourism sector, reflecting its relentless efforts in building a team that is both highly competent and socially responsible.

Green products

TTC Hospitality places “green products” at the heart of its business strategy, combining environmental protection with the preservation of local cultures. At TTC Resort – Ninh Thuan, the unique Cham culture is integrated into every aspect of the resort, from designs inspired by ancient Cham towers to traditional dishes. Visitors not only enjoy a green environment but also have the opportunity to explore the rich cultural values of the Cham people. The resort emphasizes both cultural experiences and environmental contributions, with new trees planted and the natural landscape preserved, helping to protect the local ecosystem.

At TTC Imperial Hotel, TTC Hospitality has preserved and restored the imperial architecture of Hue, while also offering “Royal Meals” and performances of Hue’s royal court music, an intangible cultural heritage.

At Valley of Love, the Gong Stage comes alive nightly with gong performances and storytelling by the K’Ho ethnic group, allowing tourists to experience local culture in a profound way.

TTC Hospitality’s green products not only cater to tourism needs but also showcase its commitment to protecting and promoting cultural, social, and environmental values. With its development strategy based on the three pillars of “Green Environment – Green Personnel – Green Products,” TTC Hospitality is affirming its pioneering role in integrating business with social responsibility. These efforts not only aim for sustainable development but also contribute to building an eco-friendly tourism industry, preserving cultural heritage, and improving the quality of life for local communities.
