HCMC – While many motorcycle riders were waiting at a stoplight in Hanoi City this afternoon, a car slammed into them, injuring 20 people including children.
At about 4 p.m. today, Hoang Ho Vinh, 63, a resident in Long Bien District, Hanoi, was driving on Nguyen Chi Cong Street, Tay Ho District, when he crashed into at least 14 motorbikes.
The accident left the street scattered with motorbike parts and the victims’ belongings, causing traffic congestion within a radius of 1.5 kilometers from the scene.
At least six ambulances were sent to the scene to rush the victims to hospital.
