Underprivileged students in Kon Tum get aid from 2030 Business Club

HCMC – The 2030 Business Club under the Saigon Times Club held its 19th Charitable Caravan, providing gifts for students in two communes of Kon Tum Province on April 28.

The ceremony of annual charitable caravan was held at Ngok Reo Primary School in Dak Ha District, Kon Tum Province. At the event, underprivileged students in Ngok Reo Commune, Dak Ha District and Bo Y Commune received gifts worth nearly VND1.6 billion, including 10 desktop computers, 200 bicycles, 10 scholarships, 732 sets of school supplies, 102 Casio calculators, and one wheelchair.

Attending the program are representatives from the Dak Ha District People’s Committee, Department of Education and Training, and local agencies. The program was also attended by Tran Minh Hung, editor-in-chief of Saigon Times Group, Tran Duc Vinh, chairman of the 2030 Business Club, Nguyen Thi Kim Tieng, permanent vice chairman of the club and head of the organizing committee along with nearly 150 members.

As part of the caravan tour, participants visited Hill 601 Historical Relic Site to pay respect to the fallen heroes.

Over the past 18 years, the 2030 Business Club’s annual charitable caravan has provided gifts worth a total of VND50 billion to one million underprivileged school children.
