As sustainable tourism gains momentum worldwide, Vietluxtour has distinguished itself with a business strategy rooted in social responsibility. The company not only delivers memorable travel experiences but also takes an active role in protecting the environment and supporting local communities.

Protecting environment

Environmental protection stands at the core of Vietluxtour’s sustainable development strategy. Beyond providing travel services, the company actively organizes and joins initiatives to preserve nature – from cleaning rivers and coastlines to tree planting and forest restoration.

In December 2024, Vietluxtour Can Tho joined a cleanup initiative on the Cai Rang River, organized as part of the Cai Rang Floating Market Culture and Tourism Festival. The effort not only improved the river’s landscape but also helped raise public awareness of the importance of protecting the aquatic environment.

In early 2024, Vietluxtour partnered with universities in HCMC to launch a Phan Thiet tour themed “Pick up trash to live differently,” blending travel experiences with volunteer work. At the same time, the company joined hands with the People’s Committee and Youth Union of Mui Ne Ward for a beach cleanup campaign, helping keep the coastline clean and inspiring greater community awareness of marine conservation.

Beyond cleanup efforts, Vietluxtour has also taken part in various tree planting and reforestation campaigns. Notably, on February 24, 2024, Vietluxtour Danang joined the city’s “Tree Planting Festival in Eternal Gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.” In addition, the company’s team directly contributed to reforestation at the Binh Chau-Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, promoting the message “protecting forests is protecting life.”

Supporting communities

In addition to its environmental initiatives, Vietluxtour has rolled out a wide range of community support programs, with a strong focus on disadvantaged children.

In May 2023, the company collaborated with Thanh Nien newspaper to organize the “Saigon Commandos” tour for children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, under the program “Walking through life with you.” The trip gave participants the chance to explore historic sites in downtown HCMC.

On May 24, 2024, Vietluxtour and Thanh Nien newspaper continued their partnership with the journey “Sharing love, receiving smiles,” designed for children orphaned by Covid-19. The program included visits to the HCMC People’s Committee headquarters, the HCMC Museum, and the Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens, along with interactive group activities.

Beyond these efforts, Vietluxtour also engages in charitable work such as visiting the Thien Than Shelter in Vung Tau to donate gifts to children, and integrating social responsibility activities into its annual company camp.

Focusing on green tourism products

Alongside its social initiatives, the company is steering its business toward green tourism. Many of its tours are designed with an environmental focus, such as sea turtle conservation trips, tree-planting activities, and waste collection programs among others.

On August 14, 2025, at the seminar “Enhancing the value of the VITA GREEN label as an international trading brand” in Hanoi, Vietluxtour became the 30th enterprise to receive the VITA GREEN tourism label and the first to achieve the Excellent rating, the highest level within the evaluation system.

According to Vietluxtour’s representatives, CSR is not a short-term campaign but a guiding principle embedded in the company’s long-term development strategy. The company aims to transform every journey into an opportunity for connection, offering travelers unique experiences while creating tangible value for both the community and the natural environment.
