Must read

HCMC – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will introduce five more domestic air routes—Danang-Phu Quoc/Thanh Hoa, Dalat-Hue/Thanh Hoa and Can Tho-Dalat—in July aimed at contributing to stimulating domestic tourism and responding to the program “Vietnamese people travel in Vietnam” initiated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a representative of the carrier said on June 23.

The launch is expected to increase the carrier’s total number of domestic air services to 57.

Vietnam Airlines has resumed all of its domestic air services to date, with its flight frequency averaging at 320 each day, VietnamPlus news site reported.

The airline will operate the Danang-Phu Quoc air route on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, with the flights set to depart from Danang City at 9.00 a.m. and from Phu Quoc at 11.25 a.m.

Vietnam Airlines will operate three round-trip flights per week on the Danang-Thanh Hoa route and four weekly round-trip flights on the Dalat-Hue air service.

The flight on the Dalat-Thanh Hoa route will operate three times per week, while the Can Tho-Dalat air route will also see three round-trip flights each week.

To mark the opening of the new routes, the carrier will run a promotional program, with a one-way ticket being offered at VND546,000, inclusive of fees and taxes, for the flights on the new air routes.
