HCMC – Vietnam Airlines will transition its operations to new terminals at some international airports in the world starting later this month.

In Southeast Asia, the national flag carrier will move from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, the Philippines, with effect from March 29. This shift is expected to alleviate congestion at Terminal 1 while enhancing passenger convenience for check-in and transfer processes as clustering SkyTeam alliance members within the same terminal.

On March 31, the airline will relocate its check-in area at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France from Terminal 2E to the newly renovated Terminal 2C, some 200 meters away, currently serving major international carriers such as Emirates and Air Canada.

In addition, at Frankfurt Airport in Germany, Vietnam Airlines will move from Terminal 2 to the brand-new Terminal 3 on May 19. The transition follows the grand opening of Terminal 3 in April and the renovation of Terminal 2 at the same time. Passengers can travel between the old and new terminals in approximately five minutes via the Skyline train or airport shuttle buses.

To ensure a smooth transition, Vietnam Airlines recommends that passengers arrive at the airports at least three hours before departure and utilize online check-in services via its website or mobile app.
