HCMC – The ongoing Vietnam Motor Show 2024 in District 7, HCMC is showcasing the latest developments in the country’s automotive and motorcycle industries, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and green technology.
Under the theme “Accelerate to Green,” the October 23-27 event features a wide range of electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid models, and vehicles equipped with cutting-edge technologies aimed at reducing emissions.
The show also highlights advancements in traditional powertrains, with brands like GAZ commercial vehicles presenting modern diesel engines that meet Euro 5 emission standards. This reflects a growing trend in Vietnam as both consumers and businesses increasingly seek environmentally friendly transportation options.
Many manufacturers showcased advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.
Connected car technology, such as remote access, over-the-air updates, and advanced navigation systems, are also on display. Some automakers demonstrated their progress in developing autonomous driving features, signaling the future of automotive innovation.

The event brought together key industry players, including representatives from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA), the Vehicle Importers Vietnam Association (VIVA), and the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM).
