Vietnam strengthens AI collaboration with NVIDIA

HCMC – Vietnam’s Party General Secretary To Lam met with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang on December 6 to discuss advancing the country’s AI ecosystem and semiconductor industry, reported the local media.

The meeting was held at the Party Central Committee’s headquarters. This is Huang’s second visit to Vietnam.

Party Chief To Lam commended Huang on receiving the VinFuture Prize and acknowledged NVIDIA’s initiatives to position Vietnam as a significant hub in its global operations. He described these efforts as a solid foundation for strategic cooperation between Vietnam and NVIDIA.

As part of its economic transformation strategy, Vietnam aims to prioritize AI and semiconductor technology to enhance productivity and strengthen its position in the global technology value chain, Lam said.

Huang voiced strong support for Vietnam’s vision, emphasizing the potential for deeper collaboration. He reiterated NVIDIA’s commitment to supporting Vietnam’s development of AI infrastructure, workforce training, and the startup ecosystem.

Vietnam’s Government has pledged to create favorable conditions for NVIDIA’s projects, aligning with its broader goals of accelerating digital transformation and fostering technology-driven growth.
