HCMC – The Ministry of Health announced 3,819 new daily Covid cases today, May 6, falling 486 cases versus the previous day.

Hanoi had 673 cases, followed by Phu Tho with 292 and Vinh Phuc with 203. Other provinces reported fewer than 100 cases each.

Six Covid deaths were reported today, while 1,817 patients fully recovered. The country’s death toll and recoveries totaled 43,055 and over 9.3 million, respectively.

Pop-up healthcare stations in the Mekong Delta province of Ca Mau will suspend operations from tomorrow, May 7, until further notice, according to the provincial government’s dispatch sent to the provincial Health Department and local authorities on May 4.

The province has seen a steep fall in new Covid cases and a high Covid vaccination rate.

Ca Mau will reactivate the mobile medical stations if new cases rise again.

Ca Mau has over 100 pop-up healthcare stations, with each of them having 5-7 medical workers.
