HCMC – The Ministry of Health reported 568 new Covid cases today, June 12, falling by 142 cases compared to the previous day. This is the lowest daily case number in almost one year.
The capital city of Hanoi as usual took the lead with 170 cases, followed by Yen Bai with 64 cases. The remaining cases were reported in 32 other provinces and cities, with each locality seeing fewer than 30 cases.
Nearly 5,300 patients were declared free of the disease today, sending the country’s total recoveries to over 9.5 million. Besides, the country recorded no new Covid deaths in the day.
Over the past seven days, Vietnam has reported an average of 816 new cases per day.
As for the active cases, 24 patients are on ventilators, according to data of the Health Ministry.
