Vietnam’s Top 7 Impressions 2025 program launched

HCMC – The “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impressions” program, organized by Saigon Tiep Thi under the Saigon Times Group, has kicked off its fifth season in 2025. The initiative aims to continue showcasing and celebrating distinctive and unique tourist destinations and experiences nationwide. Nominations are open through September 30, 2025.

The “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impressions” is not simply a voting event; it is an invitation to explore new destinations, discover unique experiences, and uncover untold stories behind each journey.

The program aims to bring Vietnam’s cultural, natural, and human richness closer to both domestic and international travelers, while contributing to the sustainable growth of the tourism industry.

This year, the program retains its five nomination categories, which include:

  • Top 7 impressive travel experiences: highlights journeys, tours, and activities that create memorable experiences for travelers. Nominations may feature activities like trekking, scuba diving, hot air balloon rides, overnight camping, or other distinctive experiences at destinations across Vietnam.

  • Top 7 unique architectural works: aims to showcase structures with distinctive designs that reflect cultural, historical, or aesthetic significance. Nominations may include restaurants, hotels, resorts, local landmarks, religious architecture, bridges, and buildings.

  • Top 7 destinations with extravagant aerial views: focuses on destinations that reveal striking beauty from above. Nominated photos should be taken using authorized equipment like drones, airplanes, or other aerial platforms, showcasing a fresh and unexpected perspective of each location.

  • Top 7 attractions with breathtaking sceneries: seeks to spotlight domestic destinations known for their remarkable landscapes. Locations can span various types of tourism and must clearly showcase their scenic beauty through photos or videos.

  • Top 7 ecotourism areas: honors destinations that promote sustainable development, focusing on preserving the natural environment and supporting local livelihoods. Nominations should highlight ecotourism activities and the destination’s contributions to advancing green tourism.

Travel enthusiasts who wish to share their moments, journeys, and unique destinations are encouraged to submit photos along with a brief description via email to top7atvn@saigontimes.vn. Please use the subject line: “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impressions 2025 | Category.”

All nominations will be updated on the program’s official page at https://sgtt.thesaigontimes.vn/top-7-viet-nam. Readers can submit an unlimited number of nominations for each category.

Nominations will be open until September 30, 2025. Meanwhile, the voting portal will remain open through November 30, 2025, to select the 35 destinations for the fifth edition of the “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impressions.”

Over the past four seasons, the program has received nearly 925 nominations from across Vietnam and more than 85,000 votes, honoring 140 unique destinations and experiences. Beyond the numbers, this achievement highlights the program’s strong influence in promoting a sustainable, diverse, and culturally vibrant tourism industry in Vietnam.

With the program’s fifth edition, Saigon Tiep Thi hopes to continue receiving the support and participation of readers in discovering and showcasing new destinations and meaningful travel experiences.

The “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impressions” is not a photo contest, but a celebration of destinations and travel experiences based on real journeys and impressions from travelers. This non-profit initiative reflects Saigon Tiep Thi’s and the Saigon Times Group’s commitment to supporting and promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam’s tourism sector.
