HCMC – Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) has achieved 50.8% of its 2024 revenue target in the first six months of the year, obtaining about VND89 trillion.
In June alone, Vinacomin obtained VND15.8 trillion in revenue.
The company turned out 27.36 million tons of commercial coal in the first half, achieving 52.9% of its 2024 volume target and marking an 11% increase from the previous year. In the first six months, it sold 26.77 million tons, rising 8.6% from last year, including 23.47 million tons supplied to power plants, up by 12.5% year-on-year.
Vinacomin also reported significant progress in electricity production and other areas. The company produced 5.26 billion kWh of electricity in the first half, a 14% increase from last year. Additionally, it has manufactured 42,836 tons of explosives, achieving 58.4% of the full-year plan and 118% of last year’s level.
in July, Vinacomin aims to produce 2.86 million tons of coal, import 1.7 million tons, and sell four million tons. The company also plans to produce 108,000 tons of alumina, 8,300 tons of copper concentrate, 2,600 tons of refined copper, and 815 million kWh of electricity.
