HCMC – Vietnam Airlines (VNA) launched an online check-in service for the Phu Bai airport in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue yesterday, August 16, to enhance the passenger experience.
The move has raised the number of airports where the carrier offers its online check-in services to 17 domestic and 30 international ones. This is also part of VNA’s efforts to move closer toward its goal of becoming a digital airline, the local media reported.
The online service will help passengers save time and avoid long queues at the airport by carrying out flight procedures online on the carrier’s website at www.vietnamairlines.com or mobile app up to 24 hours prior to departure.
The national flag airline had earlier rolled out the online check-in service for its passengers at many domestic airports such as Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Danang, Cam Ranh, Van Don and Cat Bi.
