HCMC – Work started yesterday, April 23, on Tan Van interchange, a vital link between Binh Duong Province and HCMC as part of HCMC Beltway No. 3.
Tan Van interchange is a crucial element of the HCMC Beltway No. 3 project worth VND1.83 trillion, which is being executed by a consortium comprising seven firms.
Having a total length of over 2.4 kilometers, the interchange serves as the linchpin connecting Di An City in Binh Duong Province and HCMC. It is considered the most intricate traffic hub along Beltway No. 3.
Once operational, the interchange will help ease traffic congestion between HCMC and neighboring southeastern provinces.
The 76-kilometer beltway passes through HCMC, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and Long An. A 26.6-kilometer stretch of the road will cut across Binh Duong.
Around VND3.84 trillion is earmarked for the Binh Duong section of the beltway this year. The total cost of the Binh Duong section is estimated at around VND19.3 trillion, with a compensation budget totaling nearly VND13.06 trillion.
