HCMC – Work on the My An-Cao Lanh Expressway in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap is scheduled to begin on July 26, according to the My Thuan Project Management Board.
Site clearance for the My An-Cao Lanh expressway project’s phase one is now over 95% complete, basically meeting the requirements for construction of the project’s main components.
The first phase of the My An- Cao Lanh Expressway, running nearly 27 kilometers through Dong Thap Province, is part of the western North-South Expressway.
The project will require more than VND6.1 trillion, with nearly VND4.5 trillion equivalent coming from the South Korean government’s official development assistance (ODA) and the remainder from domestic sources.
At the contract signing ceremony for Package No. 7 with the joint venture Dongbu-VNCN E&C (Vietnam) on July 21, Tran Van Thi, director of the My Thuan Project Management Board, urged all parties to promptly begin work as required, ensuring progress, quality, and safety throughout the construction process.
