HCMC – The Lam Dong Traffic Project Management Board is accelerating paperwork for two expressways that connect Dong Nai Province and Dalat City, so that construction work can start by the end of this year.

One of the two expressways links Tan Phu of Dong Nai Province and Bao Loc of Lam Dong Province, and the other connects Bao Loc and Lien Khuong, which is near Dalat City. The total length of the two expressways is about 140 kilometers.

A feasibility study for the Tan Phu-Bao Loc Expressway has been sent to the Ministry of Transport for consideration. Deo Ca Corporation, the project investor, is finalizing paperwork based on the assessments from the Vietnam Expressway Authority.

For the Bao Loc-Lien Khuong Expressway, Phuong Trang Corporation, representing the investors, is completing a feasibility study.

Work can start on both expressways in the final month of this year, contingent upon approval from competent authorities and the investors’ efforts in completing the necessary documents, according to the Lam Dong Traffic Project Management Board.

The Tan Phu-Bao Loc Expressway will get a total state contribution of VND11,000 billion, with VND6,500 billion of it coming from the central Government and VND4,500 billion from the local budget.

The Bao Loc-Lien Khuong Expressway will receive VND7,761 billion from the State, with VND1,500 billion coming from the local budget.

The two expressways are part of the 200-km Dau Giay-Lien Khuong Expressway, which connects the HCMC-Dau Giay Expressway and Dalat City.
