HCMC – Work has begun on a VND14-trillion expressway connecting the northern upland provinces of Lang Son and Cao Bang.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the Dong Dang-Tra Linh Expressway was held yesterday, January 1, and attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Upon completion, the expressway would reduce travel time from Hanoi to Lang Son or Cao Bang from seven hours to just two.

The project will be executed in 36 months and invested through a public-private partnership, with the investor raising VND4,450 billion of the project’s total cost.
