HCMC – Work began yesterday, July 21, on the first phase of the Long Hau-Danang hi-tech workshop project in the central city of Danang, with a total investment of VND1.05 trillion.

The project to develop ready-built hi-tech workshops for lease, which will cover an area of 29.6 hectares at the Danang Hi-tech Park, will be executed in three phases.

Until now, the Danang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority has leased and handed over 11.69 hectares (Lot J4) of the 29.6 hectares to Long Hau JSC, the project’s investor.

The company already developed two workshops under the project and leased them to two FDI companies.

The company will continue to build more workshops and infrastructure at Lots J4-03 and J4-04, with a total floor area of 10,000 square meters, raising the total used at Lot J4 to 11.69 hectares.

The development of the workshops will pave the way for establishing a specialized industrial zone for the firm’s hi-tech manufacturing industry in Danang, said Le Tan Cuong, board chairman of Long Hau Company.
