Must read

Sedona SkyRun concluded successfully and once again brought together runners and fitness enthusiasts for the highly anticipated Sedona SkyRun 2025. The event challenged participants to conquer 42 floors of the Saigon Centre, combining physical endurance and community spirit for cause purpose.

This year’s SkyRun welcomed nearly 300 runners from diverse backgrounds, including office workers and athletes to seasoned tower running champions. In the female’s category, Ms. Tsz Yau Li, a tower runner from Hong Kong, delivered an outstanding performance by conquering the course in just 6 minutes 57 seconds, breaking last year’s female course record of 7 minutes. She set both a new personal best and an event record, raising the bar for future editions. She was followed by Ms. Cheong Yan Wei in second place and Ms. Cindy Reid in third. On the male’s side, Mr. Shoki Yajima – a Japanese tower runner and last year’s record-holder, once again secured the top spot with an impressive 5 minutes 29 seconds. Rounding out the podium were Mr. Quang Tran and Mr. Marc Toda Vericat in second and third place, respectively.

Adding to the celebration, Mr Larry Tan – Executive Vice President of Keppel Vietnam, not only took part in the race but also presented the awards to this year’s outstanding winners, making the ceremony even more memorable.

Beyond the race, Sedona SkyRun 2025 carried a greater purpose: raising funds for Keppel Vietnam’s CSR initiative. Thanks to the collective effort of participants, sponsors, and partners, the event successfully generated VND100 million in donations, benefiting over 800 students at Bien Gioi Secondary School and Dong Khoi Secondary School in Tay Ninh Province to support their learning equipment.

“What an energized morning filled with true sporting spirit. That’s exactly what Sedona SkyRun is all about – Enhancing wellness and moving with purpose. Huge thanks to everyone who brought their passion and drove to the event. We’re excited to keep this going and carry it forward into what’s next” said Albert Lafuente, General Manager at Sedona Suites Ho Chi Minh City.
