HCMC – The HCMC Department of Tourism has announced a list of 13 hotels and two travel companies in the city eligible to serve international tourists.
These hotels comprise Rex, the Sheraton Saigon Hotels & Tower, Equatorial, Eastin Grand Saigon, Novotel Saigon Centre, Liberty Central Saigon Riverside, Vien Dong, InterCotinental Saigon, Windsor Plaza Hotel, Liberty Central Saigon Centre, Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint, Ramana Saigon and Silverland Sakyo.
The two travel companies are Saigontourist and Hai Van Cat.
Saigontourist has also resumed outbound tours, including those to the United States, Dubai – Abu Dhabi and Thailand.
The four-day Dubai – Abu Dhabi tour costs some VND32 million per guest, while the five-day Thailand tour (Bangkok – Pattaya) is priced at VND14 million per guest.
The five-day U.S. tour (San Francisco – Los Angeles) costs nearly VND90 million per guest, while the Maldives tour is priced at VND66 million per guest.
In March, the company will launch other tours to Europe, the Middle East, Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia.
HCMC’s pilot plan to welcome back international tourists is divided into two phases, with the first phase spanning from February to March 31 and the second one from April onward.
Besides the above 13 hotels and two travel companies, dozens of other hotels, travel companies and tourist sites in the city have registered for the pilot plan and are awaiting approval.
