HCMC – The 2030 Businessmen Club, an affiliate of the Saigon Times Club, on February 25 launched its 28th charitable caravan tour, during which they will hand over gifts to poor students in Binh Phuoc and Thua Thien-Hue provinces.
The tour, with the theme “One journey – Thousands of hearts”, will take place from April 29 to May 3, 2022. It will begin in HCMC; run through Binh Phuoc, Buon Ma Thuot, Gia Lai, Danang and Hue, and end in Quy Nhon.
The participants will hand over gifts worth over VND1.5 billion in total to needy students in Hon Quan District, Binh Phuoc Province, and Phuc Loc District, Thua Thien-Hue Province. They comprise some 400 bicycles, 20 computer sets, 40 scholarships, 100 wheelchairs and 800 gift sets.
Alongside charitable activities, the participants will joint many other meaningful events during the five-day tour, such as exploring local culture, visiting famous sites, and joining sport and art programs.
Over the past 16 years, the 2030 Businessmen Club’s charitable caravan tour has benefited more than 20,000 disadvantaged children across the country.
The program has been successfully organized thanks to generous support from thousands of businesspeople, enterprises and organizations.
