HCMC – The German Business Association (GBA) Oktoberfest Vietnam kicked off yesterday, October 6, in HCMC, heralding the return of Germany’s renowned cultural festival following a two-year suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The festival takes place at the Nikko Saigon Hotel from October 6 to 8, under the name GBA-Erdinger Oktoberfest 2022.

GBA Oktoberfest 2022 is being co-hosted by GBA, the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam, under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in HCMC.

The event has offered an opportunity to promote traditional German foods and drinks in Vietnam. It previously took place at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hanoi for four days from September 29 to October 2.

GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam is an annual festival that has been running since 1992. Over the years, it has grown to become the largest German festival in Southeast Asia.
