CAN THO – The Vietnam International Agriculture Fair 2022 at the Can Tho Promotion Agency (CPA) ended last night, November 6, earning total sales revenue of around VND20 billion.
The fair attracted over 100,000 visitors in five days, from November 2 to November 6, according to Nguyen Thi Kieu Duyen, director of CPA.
Nearly 70 contracts related to agricultural machinery, production lines, pesticides, fertilizers, processed products and consumer goods were signed at the fair.
The largest annual agriculture fair in Can Tho featured 250 booths from over 100 firms in 17 localities and other countries such as India, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea and China this year.
The fair showcased high-tech agricultural machinery, production and processing lines, pesticides, agro-forestry-aquatic processed products, high-quality plant varieties and commercial products.
Some four conferences and seminars were held at the fair to reinforce trading capacity, improve e-commerce transactions and offer appropriate technology solutions for sustainable development.
The Leaf Festival, which introduced many leaf-based products to encourage eco-friendly practices in daily life, also attracted huge interest from visitors.
Techmart for Agriculture 2022, part of the agriculture fair, attracted over 1,500 visitors and received positive feedback from individuals, organizations and enterprises in the country and worldwide.
The fair also welcomed representatives of enterprises from Northern European countries, offering them opportunities to promote their brands, introduce their products and boost connections with other partners to expand their markets.
