HCMC – RMIT’s Asia Trade and Innovation Hub has published a report providing insights for Australian companies searching for Industry 4.0-related business opportunities in Vietnam’s agriculture, logistics and higher education.
The report, “Strengthening Victoria’s Connections with Southeast Asia: Industry 4.0 in Vietnam – Opportunities for Australian Business”, was launched at an event during the official visit of Vietnam’s National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to Australia.
The aim of the report is to provide a practical guide for companies and governments looking to strengthen relations and cooperation with the Southeast Asian region, including Vietnam.
Lead author Assoc. Prof. Vinh Thai said Australia’s experience and expertise could be transferred and leveraged in Vietnam, providing opportunities for both countries.
Thai said the strengthened collaboration between Australian and Vietnamese organizations would contribute to enhancing digital transformation which is being highlighted by the Vietnamese Government.
RMIT Vietnam Pro Vice-Chancellor and General Director, Prf. Claire Macken, said the report would help strengthen business engagement between Australia and Vietnam.
The report was funded by the Victorian Government under the Victorian Higher Education State Investment Fund, as part of the RMIT Asia Trade and Innovation Hub.
