Thai Embassy organizes video contest to celebrate Thai-Vietnamese friendship

HCMC – The Royal Thai Embassy in Vietnam is organizing a video contest to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand.

The “Thai-Vietnamese Friendship in the New Normal” video contest is open to Thai and Vietnamese citizens aged between 18 and 30.

Applicants are encouraged to submit their videos covering different topics highlighting the creative cultural exchanges between Thailand and Vietnam such as culture, tourism, cuisine and music, said the Thai Embassy. 

Each video must be shot by two contestants comprising a Vietnamese and a Thai.  Contestants can find their video partners at https://fb.me/e/K4lnwCKq.

Videos must last for between two and five minutes and can be in Thai, Vietnamese or English. Contestants must comply with all relevant Covid-19 prevention and control measures in both countries while making the video.

Entries should be in the formats of MP4, AVI, MOV or WMV and sent to the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ThaiThebyRTEHanoi, with the name, year of birth, email address and telephone numbers of both members by September 12, 2021. 

The best videos will be posted on the YouTube channel of the Royal Thai Embassy.

The first, second and third prize winners will receive cash prizes of VND20 million, VND10 million and VND5 million, respectively.
