HCMC – The Vietnam Stock Exchange (VNX) has joined the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) following approval from the WFE General Assembly.

During the World Federation of Exchanges Annual Meeting in 2023, held from September 19 to 21, the WFE General Assembly voted in favor of granting official membership status to the Vietnam Stock Exchange.

This development marks a significant milestone in VNX’s global integration efforts, bolstering its capacity to attract foreign investment into the Vietnamese stock market.

As subsidiaries of VNX, both the Hochiminh Stock Market and the Hanoi Stock Exchange will also enjoy the same benefits as official WFE members.

In addition to its new membership in the WFE, VNX is already a member of the ASEAN Exchanges, the ASEAN Bond Market Forum, and the Asian and Oceanian Stock Exchanges Federation.
