HCMC – A job fair attracted more than 5,000 job seekers in HCMC this morning, November 30.
Organized by the HCMC Youth Employment Service Center and the Industrial University of HCMC, the job bazaar featured over 50 employers in various sectors, including information technology, mechanical engineering, automotive, electronics, environment, construction, economics, finance, tourism, hospitality, and business management.
This year’s event, which placed a special focus on part-time employment opportunities, was aimed at equipping job seekers with insights and options for additional work leading up to the 2024 Lunar New Year.
Nguyen Xuan Hong, vice president of the Industrial University of HCMC, highlighted the collaborative nature of the event, emphasizing its role as a bridge connecting universities and businesses.
Employer perspectives were also shared at the event.
Dam Viet Hung, deputy director of VT Gas – Vietnam Liquefied Gas Company, said that the fair provided visitors with opportunities to secure stable employment, with many job openings coming with monthly incomes of VND16 million to VND20 million.
The company wants to recruit 30 professionals for positions in production, business development, and market expansion.
