HCMC – New Zealand dairy brand Meadow Fresh has expanded its product lineup in Vietnam with the launch of whipping cream and unsalted butter targeting professional users in the baking, beverage, and food service sectors.

The new products were introduced at the “Meadow Fresh Smoother Texture, Balanced Taste” seminar in HCMC, which brought together F&B experts, chefs, baking training institutions, and representatives from food, hotel, and restaurant businesses.

According to the distributor, the launch broadens Meadow Fresh’s offerings in Vietnam after nearly two decades of selling imported fresh milk products from New Zealand. The expansion comes as demand grows for high-quality ingredients that can deliver consistent performance in professional-scale production.

Scott James, New Zealand’s consul general and trade commissioner in Vietnam, said the country’s dairy industry is built on sustainable farming practices, favorable natural conditions, and strict production standards. He noted that these factors have helped New Zealand dairy products maintain their position in international markets.

Industry participants at the seminar noted that ingredient quality and consistency are becoming increasingly important in baking and premium culinary applications.

Philippe Bordat, group director at Wilmar and director of the Wilmar Baking Training Center, said suitable ingredients affect not only the quality of finished products but also enable chefs to focus on refining techniques and developing new recipes.

Daniel Nguyen, executive director of F&B and culinary operations at Mia Luxury Collection, said chefs and F&B operators are paying closer attention to factors such as processing stability, compatibility with different ingredients, and product consistency.

The company said the addition of whipping cream and unsalted butter complements Meadow Fresh’s existing fresh milk products in Vietnam, completing its portfolio of imported New Zealand dairy ingredients to meet the increasingly diverse needs of professional baking, beverage, and culinary businesses.
