HCMC – The Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) is expediting the refurbishment of interiors and installation of various amenities for the forthcoming tourist trains connecting two renowned destinations in central Vietnam, Hue and Danang. The service is slated to commence on March 26.
According to Tran Anh Tuan, deputy general director of Vietnam Railways Corporation, the trains will operate daily between Hue and Danang, offering a blend of transportation and tourism services.
The train has seven cars, with one for power generation, five for passengers with 56 seats each, and one for services. The ticket price is set at VND150,000, with monthly tickets available at VND900,000 per ticket, along with discounts for eligible passengers.
To ensure seamless operations, VNR is collaborating with transportation companies to establish high-quality waiting rooms, catering to the preferences of tourists, international visitors, and other customer demographics.
The Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will oversee the management and operation of these trains, in partnership with local tourism entities.
