HCMC – Public investment disbursements by ministries, agencies and localities had reached VND244,903 billion in the year to July 31, meeting only 31.6% of the full-year target.
Of the amount, capital disbursements from the previous years extending into 2024 totaled VND12,811.7 billion and new disbursements were put at VND232,091 billion.
The Ministry of Finance has urged ministries, central agencies and localities to strictly implement the prime minister’s directives on disbursing public investment capital.
The ministry has asked the Ministry of Planning and Investment to guide central agencies, and localities in detailing the state budget plan for 2024 to ensure synchronized implementation.
