The 2024 International Dance Festival that took place from August 17 to 21 in the central city of Hue attracted the participation of nearly 500 artists from 17 art troupes from nine countries: Laos, the Philippines, China, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and Vietnam.
The dances were in various folk, classical, and modern styles. After five nights of performances, five gold and 10 silver medals were awarded to outstanding performances.
Dance shows were imbued with the cultural identity of ethnic groups and countries, reflecting truthfully, deeply, and vividly the colorful life of society and people. The creative dances inspired audiences.
