HCMC – Binh Duong Province is set to pilot the development of two free trade zones in Di An City and Bau Bang District, aiming to drive its economic transition to a modern growth model.
The move aligns with the province’s development plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision towards 2050. The provincial Department of Industry and Trade stated that the new growth model focuses on modern industry and the digital economy.
The establishment of free trade zones in two significant areas, Di An City and Bau Bang District, will serve as a foundation for the future development of free trade hubs.
The initiative not only offers significant opportunities for import-export businesses but also supports the development of processing industries, financial services, and logistics in the province.
