HCMC – Vuong Ngoc Xiem, board member and deputy general director of Kido KIDO Group (HOSE, ticker: KDC), has registered to acquire 4.2 million KDC shares to raise her stake in the company.
The transactions are registered for a four-week window from November 5 to December 3. If successful, Xiem will raise her ownership in Kido Group from 371,894 shares (0.13%) to more than 4.57 million shares (1.58%).
On the southern exchange, KDC inched down to VND50,600 per share today, October 30. With this market price, she would need to spend around VND212.5 billion purchasing the amount of KDC shares she has registered for.
The VN-Index of the Hochiminh Stock Exchange lost 3.15 points, or 0.25%, against the day earlier, at 1,258.63 points, with 163 winners and 210 losers.
Around 536.9 million shares worth VND12.7 trillion were traded on bourse, down by 38.65% in volume and VND32.52% in value against yesterday’s session. Block deal transactions contributed around VND1.5 trillion to the overall value.
The VN30 basket saw 17 stocks declining and eight increasing. Among them, VHM dropped by a sharp 3.7%, closing at VND41,150, making it the largest burden on the overall index.
However, VHM was the most actively traded stock in the market, with more than 31.82 million shares traded.
On the northern exchange, the HNX-Index added 0.32 point, or 0.14%, against the previous day, at 225.88 points, with 65 advancers and 87 decliners. The total trading volume reached VND40.5 million shares worth VND653.5 billion.
