HCMC – The event “Exploring English Through Christmas” was held at K Coffee in District 1, HCMC on December 14, offering a highly interactive environment for 20 attendees to enhance their English skills while engaging in discussions centered around the spirit of Christmas.

The gathering, co-held by the Saigon Times Foundation (STF), Innovation Services Center (ISC), VNFOCUS, and K Coffee, created a warm and festive atmosphere for participants to connect, practice English, and celebrate the holiday spirit.

The session was moderated by lecturer Tran Thi My Loan and American teacher Daniel Dean Ebbett. Together, they guided participants through a variety of interactive exercises aimed at enhancing speaking skills, expanding vocabulary, and boosting confidence in a relaxed, joyful setting.

The event featured several memorable highlights. One key activity focused on exploring Christmas-themed vocabulary, with the moderators sparking lively discussions through holiday-inspired questions.

Participants were encouraged to use their new vocabulary in real conversations, adding a practical and immersive element to the learning experience.

Another standout moment was the Christmas carol session. Led by a volunteer Mai Phuong, the group learned and sang the classic song “Joy to the World”, quickly filling the room with festive melodies and holiday cheers.
